Hosting a Party at Torview Swim and Tennis Club


Torview is a wonderful place to host a private party. With our abundant green space, large pool, and other available amenities, our facility is equipped and ready to welcome birthdays, graduations, family reunions, and other special events.

Our grounds are available for small gatherings during our normal hours of operation, large scale events in our off hours, or having the pool closed by special request.

For Non-Members

Non-Members may be eligible to host an event or private party outside of normal hours of operation, pending board approval. To inquire about availability and costs please e-mail info@torview.com for more information.

Party Inclusions

When you officially register to host your private party at Torview Swim and Tennis Club you'll receive the following benefits.

  • Custom event registration page on the Torview website
  • Permission to bring in outside items such as pop-up tents, folding tables, decorations
  • Access to catering from the snack bar (must be arranged in advance)
  • Private use of the charcoal grill at the Torview snack bar
  • Certain Torview amenities can be reserved for private use such as:
  • Basketball Courts (1 hour limit for parties held during regular hours)
  • Private field access
  • Pickle Ball Court
  •   Tennis Courts (1 hour limit, 2 courts maximum, subject to availability)
  • Lawn Games

    Rules and Guidelines

    These guidelines apply to all parties, regardless of whether they take place during normal hours or outside of normal hours.

    • Private Parties require board approval and must be booked no less than one week in advance so we are able to secure staffing.
    • Only Members are allowed to host a private party
    • Non-Members are welcomed and will be  subject to Torview's Guest Pass policy and pricing of $15 per person. Registration is available in advance or can be paid upon arrival
    • Member host is responsible for all cleanup of all party related materials (staff will clean bathrooms, per Torview staff policy) 
    • Parties are allowed to use Torview Charcoal grill (outside grills are not allowed)
    • No outside speakers or excessive noise that would be disruptive to the normal operations
    • Access to Torview resources such as basketball court, cornhole, games, must be pre-approved and are subject to board approval
    • Decorations such as balloons, banners, are allowed with approval in advance. This includes tables brought in by party host
    • No personal use of the snack bar facilities (storing cold food, heating food, etc.)
    • All party guests must adhere to and agree to abide by Torview Rules and Regulations regarding noise, attire, and other items. Torview rules and regulations can be found HERE. Those attending the party must adhere to all directives from the Pool Director/Pool Management lead. If the Pool Director, exercising his/her sole discretion, determines that anyone attending the party is intoxicated or violating the Club’s safety rules, the party will be terminated and no refund will be given

    Parties Hosted During Normal Hours of Operation

    Additional Rules and Guidelines

    • Non-member guests are allowed to stay at the pool after the party ends, their registration covers the entire day.
    • Party can not exceed 4 hours in length 
    • Non-Member guests can arrive before the official start time. Party organizers are allowed to begin setting up no earlier than 30 minutes prior to party start time
    • Dedicated seating (max. 2 picnic tables)
    • No more than 2 parties per day. Parties can not overlap and must be separated by an interval of no less than 30 minutes to allow for clean up and turnover.
    • If the Snack-bar is open for business for the party host, guests would need to purchase items as normal.
    • Host is responsible for all setup before and clean up after the party.

    Parties Hosted Outside Normal Hours of Operation

    Additional Rules and Guidelines

    • No more than one party at a time can be hosted at Torview outside of normal hours
    • Non-Member guests for after hours parties can arrive before the official start time. Party organizers are allowed to arrive no earlier than 30 minutes prior to the start time of the party
    • Party cannot exceed 100 total guests
    • Special music requests can be made, subject to board approval and the discretion of the Pool Manager on duty
    • For events designed for youth groups, there must be at least one adult chaperone for every 10 minors in attendance. Non-member adult chaperones who fall within this range will not be assessed a registration fee. All adults outside of the 1 per 10 range will be required to pay the registration fee

    Additional Costs for Parties held outside normal hours

    • Parties held outside of normal hours of operation are required to pay staffing costs for the event. Staffing costs for lifeguards and gate attendants are set at $20 per hour. The number of lifeguards required is based on the number of guests, how the pool will be utilized and the age of the party participants. This detail will be determined by the Torview Pool Director
    • An additional 30 minute set up time and 30 minute tear down time will be included in the hourly staffing costs
    • $150.00 security deposit is required one week in advance. Security deposit is refunded if the event is canceled with enough time for Torview to not incur costs, ideally 24 hours or more in advance. Deposit will be applied to the cost of staffing the event.
    • If host would like the Snack-bar to be open/functioning for the party to supply food/beverages they may request this. Subject to availability and board approval
    • Host is responsible for all setup before and clean up after the party
